New hope

In the spring of 2013 I was once again looking on the internet for something that could help me. I think I googled for "Chronic Fatigue Syndrome" + "recovery" or something like that. That was when I found FatigueGuide.com, I had never seen that website before. I read on the site and decided to submit my e-mail address to receive the free tools they offered. I thought, what have I got to lose, I might as well try this too. It can't make things worse, anyway.

I downloaded the files, watched the videos that explained the syndrome, and felt that this might be something for me. I started to use the tools half-heartedly, and felt some improvement just from that. But I still had a small voice in the back of my head saying that this is just temporary, don't get your hopes up, you'll only get disappointed again.

But by this time I was ready to try anything. So I sent my application for the next online
Optimum Energy Course, and I got an answer right away from Russell Stubbs. He wanted to call me to talk a bit about the course and how it all worked. Oh dear, I thought, how will I manage talking to a "genuine" Englishman? :-) I haven't spoken English since I went to school, about 20 years ago.

But I was desperate enough to agree to that too, and our talk went quite well. I found that Russell is very kind and understanding, and has very deep knowledge about these conditions. He also talks a very clear and easy-to-understand English, and I didn't have any problems making myself understood either.

I booked myself onto the course, and we set up two private sessions before, to get started as soon as possible. I also started to use the free tools more regularly, and now I dared to get my hopes up a little. Maybe there actually was a way to get myself out of this condition?
